Kajsa Gullberg is a Scandinavian artist, born 1977 in Gothenburg, Sweden, lives and work in Copenhagen, Denmark since 1996. She is educated from Fatamorgana the Danish School of Art Photography and from The Royal Art Academy, the School of Design / Visual Communication.

There is always a gritty poetry present in the images, if it is black and white images of women with scars, close up color images of flowers, faces, bodies or nature. The images are confronting, demanding and insisting, always with a ground tone of caring and empathy.
At the end of the day, I always hope that my images leaves the viewer with some more questions, a curiosity of the complexity of life and a little bit more love for them self, Gullberg states about her work.
